Bamboo Angklung:

These Indonesian instruments are hand made from bamboo.

They have a unique & interesting sound, commonly heard in Gamelang music & various other forms of traditional music from this region.

They are hand made to a traditional design & pattern.

Choose from 'standard' bamboo or 'black' bamboo, black is generally considered louder than standard bamboo.

The standard bamboo can also be decorated with a traditional pattern if desired.

Colours & sizes may vary slightly.

One 'set' comprises of eight tones (1 octave):

Do :  Re :  Fa :  So :  La :  Si :  do : 

One octave.

These are traditional folk instruments, so pitch may not conform exactly with western 'diatonic' scale as they are based on local Asian scales.

The instrument flat packs for shipping & are packed in bubble wrap & cardboard boxes.
