These fabrics & garments are made by people with disabilities, most of whom would not be
able to get work or be able to support themselves if it was not for this
project. They work together for 5 days a week & get support from
the centre. They learn traditional & contemporary skills like Batik,
Bamboo & Wood crafts. The project is self financing with no other
income apart from the products they sell. The local government support
the project by providing two staff, but unfortunately
no actual financial funding at the moment. By buying these batik products you are
supporting this great project, thanks.
